Last week I received a challenge to create a card that has lots of layers of white cardstock. There were a few samples that the designer shared to give us some inspiration. My favorite of her designs had an embossed layer on the card base and then multiple mats for a focal image layer. She also incorporated a couple of white embellishments to add interest and I did the same on my card. I pulled out the Classic Matte Dots which are currently on the Clearance Rack – I really love them! I also pulled out the Iridescent Striped Trim which I recently purchased. I love how they add some texture without distracting from the focal images. For the embossed layer I used the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder which is perfect for Fall themed creations.
I originally planned to include this cute cup on the front of the card, but I decided to have 2 donuts instead. Since I had already created the cup it seemed like a perfect addition to the inside of my card. This all makes me think of school field trips to apple orchards and the kids picking apples and watching how the cider press works. It’s a perfect Fall activity for people of all ages!
