Friendship day a little late
Ok, so I had absolutely no idea that July 30th was Friendship Day. I'm so bummed that I missed it because I can't imagine many other things that deserve a special day for celebration more than friendship. This card would be a wonderful thing to send to a friend to let them know that they mean a lot to you, and that you're thinking of them.
I created this sample for the New Catalog open house event that I had a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to have some samples for the various Designer Series Paper that I had purchased in my pre-order. I was especially drawn to the Well Worn paper because the style reminds me of Basic Gray papers. I am especially fond of many of their paper lines – just ask any of my scrappin' friends. 😉 Stampin' Up! is have a special this month on the Designer Series Paper – buy 3 get 1 free. To check it out, click on the Specials link in my right side bar.
If you want to recreate this card, here are the supplies I used:
- Stamps: Word Play
- Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, River Rock
- Designer Series Paper: Well Worn
- Ink: Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso
- Accessories: Corner rounder punch, Stampin' sponges, Artichoke denim ribbon
