When I was contemplating what stamp sets I wanted to showcase in my first stamp club meeting in over a year, I knew right away that I wanted to work with the Artistically Inked set. This gorgeous suite is in the new “big” catalog and is featured on the front cover. The images with these stamps create wonderful watercolor like imagery with the ease of a rubber stamp. There are so many ways to use these stamps and the coordinating dies to create stunning cards and I’m sure that I’ll use this bundle a LOT. I think that the club gals had fun with this card, and I hope that you’re inspired by it, too.

I drew inspiration for this card from an older sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. This particular layout seemed perfect to me to feature a cluster of the flowers with a small greeting on the focal art panel. I even got to use the watercolor “splotch” with Soft Sea Foam ink on the stitched rectangle to add a little something extra to the panel. I added 3 Champagne Rhinestones to zhuzh it up a bit for the finishing touches. I love the texture from the embossed base layer and I definitely encourage you to check out the Painted 3D embossing folder – it really adds an art-y feel to a project.

A quick update related to my post from yesterday. I believe that I have set up my newsletter subscription service to send out posts from this blog. If I have everything right, then people who subscribe to the Feedburner feed and my mail service will get two copies of this post. I’ll be checking how it goes to make sure that it is sent successfully from the new service. If you don’t receive 2 copies and you want to keep getting posts via email, that’s a cue that you need to subscribe to the newsletter service from my blog. If this test is good, then I’ll be shutting off the Feedburner service for my blog over the weekend.
