I just can't believe it
After going all winter last year with no snow, I was a little shocked this morning to get up, look out the window and see it snowing outside. Now, I don't know if it will amount to anything today, but it is kinda nice to see a little bit of white out there since all we have right now is brown.
I designed this card for a holiday stamp-a-stack that I participated in with several other demonstrators. This card features the Triple Time technique which I shared previously in this blog post. It was so much fun watching the lightbulb go off for the participants as they created this card. It is an easy technique, but there is a little trick that is counter-intuitive until you "get it". I received many compliments from the SAS attendees, I'm sure partly due to the beautiful bling of the glimmer paper.
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Snowflake Soirée
- Cardstock: Midnight Muse, Whisper White, Bashful Blue
- Ink: Midnight Muse, Bashful Blue, Crumb Cake
- Accessories: Snow Flurry Bigz die, Midnight Muse ribbon, Metallic brad, Silver Glimmer paper
