This is one of the projects that I created during an online stamping event in January. It was great to have crafty fun during the gloom of January, and the organizers didn’t disappoint. The woman that design this project also created a card project (nothing surprising there). For both projects she used the Mixed Media Suite that was released in January. Her intention was to have a coordinating gift (this notecard holder) and card. I didn’t see that was what she was doing, so I chose non-coordinating products for the two projects. Honestly, this is totally fine because this notepad cover will still be a great gift. A coordinating card is definitely not a requirement.
I thought the Pretty Petals bundle was perfect for this project, and this is the first time that I inked it up. I shared a card project here that features the bundle. This bundle was released as an online exclusive in November 2024, and it is already on the Last Chance list. Boo! If you do purchase this bundle, make sure to buy the parts separately. The bundle price is the same as it was originally (the normal 10% bundle discount), but the separate stamps and dies are marked down quite a bit more.

This is what the notepad cover looks like on the inside. I was actually delayed in creating the project because I had to order some 4″ x 6″ Post It pads, and I had to wait for them to arrive. I watched the class in real time and did the stamping parts and set them aside for assembly when my Post Its arrived. There were 5 different colored pads in the pack, and the pink one coordinated perfectly with the color scheme that I chose for the project. I really like how this notepad cover turned out!
